HAROSHI

JAPANESE, BORN 1978

Haroshi's sculptural works are primarily constructed out of recycled skate decks. In addition to sculpture, Haroshi is a collector, painter, architect, and industrial designer. Also, he has an art studio, which is located in the outskirts of Tokyo.

Haroshi sourced the skateboards he used in the sculptures from his skateboard friends. Then, he had the idea to use skateboards as a sculptural materials. Haroshi has also collaborated with MediCom and Karimoku Furniture to create bearbrick toys.
